After captivating us in 2021 with a striking recital of virtuosity and sensitivity, Alexandre Kantorow returns with Liszt’s Concerto 2, a magnificent musical journey with ever-changing climates. For his first concert as music director, Joshua Weilerstein will then conduct a sublime romantic love poem. Mahler’s Symphony No. 5 is indeed one of the author’s most ardent works, with the famous Adagietto imagined as an engagement gift to his muse Alma.
