Fossilium, by and for the Secours populaire français – committee of Villeneuve-d'Ascq, with the valuable support of the City: 300 linear meters, 56 exhibitors spread over 2 rooms, exhibitors-animators on stage, a major anniversary exhibition, a participatory investigation show, a restaurant area and a place to meet, exchange ideas, and share knowledge.

THE OPAL COAST, WHEN THE EARTH TELLS ITS STORY...

From the Jurassic cliffs to the Cretaceous terrain, the Boulonnais reveals the traces of worlds that have disappeared: marine reptiles, XXL ammonites, pearly ammonites, starfish with striking details...
In the Boulogne countryside too, human works sometimes reveal fossils that have never been observed before, paving the way for new scientific discoveries.
Vanished oceans. Forgotten creatures. Millions of years under our feet... and still so many secrets to discover beneath the spectacular landscapes of the Côte d'Opale.
At the helm of this exhibition, Sébastien Ducloy has brought together several passionate collectors to help you discover some of the paleontological treasures of the Boulonnais region.

THE CASE OF THE LOST TOOTH

More than 100 million years after their disappearance, prehistoric sharks will also sow a certain agitation in the alleys of Fossilium...
In "L'affaire de la dent perdue", the Tormis Company will involve young and old in a participatory investigation to say the least... biting.
Shark fossils were found in a secret place in Boulonnais. But now they mysteriously disappear.
Only one solution: call on the very serious—or almost—BRF, Fossil Shark Brigade.
The visitors will then turn into paleonto-geolo-detectives to try to solve the case.
