Come (re)discover the history of the City of Seclin, whose origins date back to the Middle Ages, through its religious and hospitable heritage. Thus the Collegiate Church of Saint-Piat rests on a site dating from the eighth century, while the Hospital Notre-Dame was founded in the thirteenth century by the Countess Margueritte of Flanders. Their stories are worth listening to, so follow the guides and explore the foundation of these historic moments.
The visit will also take you to discover the House of the Provost - Dean of the Chapter of the Collegiate Church, as well as the House of Monsignor DECOUTRAY great figure of the Roman Catholic Church, not forgetting the small Chapel Saint-Piat not far from the station.
Route organized by the Lille Branch of the Pastoral Ministry of Tourism and Leisure Realities of the Diocese of Lille in partnership with the Department of Archaeology of the City of Seclin, the association of "Safeguarding and rehabilitation of the Collegiate Church of Saint-Piat", the Parish of Seclin - Attiches and “Seclin – Mélantois Tourisme”.
