"Nothing grows in the shade of tall trees" replies the sculptor Brancusi to Rodin, refusing to join his workshop. After Manque à l'appel and En apparence, Tony Melvil continues to address children "as if they were grown-ups," with this musical piece composed of original songs that feature two characters: a singer on the accordion and a singer on the ukulele. In a setting inspired by construction games, freedom and audacity are opposed to models and conformism, while a director with a mysterious presence invites us to cut the invisible threads that sometimes prevent us from expressing our whim.
