A symbol of Roubaix’s heritage, the old municipal baths built by Albert Baert between 1927 and 1932 illustrate the architectural richness of Art Deco. Reopened as a museum in 2001 and enlarged in 2018 by Jean-Paul Philippon, La Piscine invites you to a unique encounter between the history of the place and artistic works. The richness of the museum’s collections of paintings, sculptures and applied arts can be seen in this place which was considered for more than fifty years as "the most beautiful swimming pool in France".
