  Mixing melodic death Metal and classical music, the Toulouse band Aephanemer has forged a sound identity apart from the French Metal scene. Their stage play, noticed notably at the Wacken Open Air, Hellfest, Motocultor or Summer Breeze and the quality of their compositions led to a collaboration with Napalm Records paving the way for a wider broadcast and on many dates in Europe. More recently, Aephanemer integrates folk and medieval influences into their already singular music. On October 31, 2025, his new album, Utopia, was released on Napalm Records. This record continues the exploration of the link between extreme music and symphonic orchestrations. True to its identity, Aephanemer continues to advance without compromise, establishing itself as one of the major bands of the new French Metal scene.
