Hailing from Philadelphia, the multi-instrumentalist BC Camplight drops anchor in Manchester in 2013. A new beginning a few years after his American debut in 2005 (not far from musicians who will then join The War On Drugs or in connection with Sharon Van Etten). This flight to Manchester will be followed by other round trips and crossings, across the oceans. His titles, composed without academic constraint, concentrate bits of life and slices of life. Each song carries its own intensity specific to condensed creative formats (short films, literary news). Beautiful, sad, funny sometimes. Transparency is music.
