The "Foul Beast" has always existed and she has thick skin. Sometimes it manifests triumphantly and shamelessly, as in the fierce discourse that J. Swift imagines long before Brecht, with an obviously ironic cruelty. But often and more dangerously, it crawls invisible and subtly rots minds, as T. Bernhard shows in his banal scenes of everyday life.
How to get rid of it? The two authors make here modest literary proposals with corrosive humor.
