Film by Rubika Shah (2026) - 1h20
With Herman J. Mankiewicz, Nick Davis
In 1932, Herman J. Mankiewicz, who would become famous 10 years later for his screenplay for Citizen Kane, writes The Mad Dog of Europe: a visionary script denouncing the Hitlerian threat. Between diplomatic pressures and economic interests, Hollywood studios prefer to remain silent and bury the project.
With Nathalie Sédou, lecturer, in charge of teaching in film aesthetics.
As part of the 27th edition of Mois du doc, attend this special screening.
