A film by Nicolas Wadimoff (2026) 1h 53
Starring Jawdat Khoudary, Mahmoud Jouda, Adel Altaweel, Haneen Harara
A map of Gaza, its towns, camps and neighbourhoods. White paint on a black floor. Within the roughly sketched outlines, nine refugees who managed to escape from hell tell their stories. Their former lives, the loss of loved ones. Lives under oppression, but not yet reduced to ashes. By sharing their stories, the protagonists attempt to reconnect with themselves, to cease being ghosts. To return, perhaps, to life.
Film screening and discussion | Sunday 25 October | 5.00 pm
In partnership with AFPS Roubaix-Tourcoing – Citizen Film Festival.
