The Town of Villeneuve d’Ascq invites you to participate in the commemoration of the 81th anniversary of the victory of May 8, 1945.

    This ceremony will pay tribute to those who fought for freedom, through official readings, speeches and laying wreaths.
    At o'clock, official ceremony:
  • Reading the message of Maréchal Delattre de Tassigny
  • Discourse of fighting associations
  • Ministerial message
  • Address by the Mayor
  • Laying of wreaths
    At 11:30 am: Parade accompanied by musical harmonies
    At 11:45am: Glass of friendship at the Masqueliez room
