Procession of Saint Nicholas

  • Fête - Festival
  • Visite - Balade

The procession of Saint-Nicolas returns on Saturday, December 6 to illuminate, at nightfall, the district of Flers-Bourg. This unmissable event revives one of the most beautiful end-of-year traditions.

Proceedings of the evening

17:45: Meet in front of the Anatole-France school to gather and pick up the tickets for the final distribution of shells and hot chocolates.
At nightfall: Departure of the procession of Saint Nicholas, led by volunteers from the association D'Anatole in Guernouillard.

A living legend

The parade will revive the legend of Saint Nicholas with all the emblematic characters:

  • The butcher’s cart and the three children in the salting room (saved at the end),
  • The elves dressed in red,
  • Le Père Fouettard,
  • The fire-eaters,
  • And many other surprises for young and old.
The children will call together the famous "Saint Ni-co-las! Saint Ni-co-las!" for a spectacular final, closed by a pyrotechnic show.
