Discovery of the showers at the Paris-Roubaix

Built in 1928, the showers of the velodrome became a mythical place of the arrival of Paris-Roubaix, between architectural heritage and sporting memory. These 90 concrete cabins, designed to accommodate the children of the interwar years, now welcome the exhausted runners of the "queen of classics". Each one bears a plaque in the name of a great winner: Merckx, Hinault, Boonen or Sagan...
This year, the sports park is hosting the start of the retro Ch'ti bike race, organized by the association Hauts de France Terre de Vélos, showcasing the industrial heritage of cycling in Hauts-de-France.
