A man during a long walk in the Alpes de Haute-Provence meets a shepherd. This shepherd lives alone in this hostile country. He plants trees. One hundred trees every day without expecting anything in return. A few years later, forests of oak, beech, birch and ash trees appeared... The water returned, the barren and desolate moor became a land full of life! This fable evokes a wide echo of our time, (re)discover the work of Jean Giono by taking part in history.
