Exhibition and guided tour of the Villa Sonneville

  • Exposition

Built in 1926 by the architect Auguste Georges Dubois, the villa Sonneville is a remarkable example of bourgeois architecture in Roubaix. Commissioned by Albert Sonneville, wool merchant and painter, officer of the Public Instruction, it brought together housing, workshop and personal museum. Passionate collector, he housed one of the richest art collections in the region. This jewel of the Vauban-Barbieux district is today an art gallery house.
