The underground quarries represent a rich historical, cultural and natural heritage which is however impossible to access for a large public. The exhibition invites visitors to discover remarkable sites from different periods of their existence. It is also an opportunity to highlight the research conducted at the University of Lille on this fascinating local heritage. A virtual reality space offers a stroll through the underground quarries of Lezennes.
