Corealization The wind rose + Contemporary latitudes
These are unknown, forgotten, even totally ignored images. In the 1950s, cameraman Stevan Labudović followed Tito’s (then president "for life" of Yugoslavia) movements in Africa and Asia. He thus filmed the birth of the "non-aligned movement". Either countries that have chosen not to follow or oppose the great powers, in a world in the middle of a cold war. The Serbian director Mila Turajlić has found these archives and reanimated them, giving voice to these projects of independence. On stage, she creates a live editing by mixing these images with sound recordings or personal stories. She thus explores history through the prism of intimacy.
