From April 27 to May 12, 2026, Kino Ciné invites you to embark on the second edition of Il nostro viaggio in Italia - so far everything goes well, a cycle devoted to the many faces of Italian cinema, between great classics, heritage works, author cinema and contemporary looks, with the premiere of Francesca & Giovanni as the highlight of this new edition.
After a first edition devoted to the richness of Italian cinema, Kino Ciné continues this cinematic journey with a new selection of films that crosses eras, forms and sensibilities.
From Rossellini to Pasolini, from giallo to contemporary writing, from animation to political drama, Il nostro viaggio in Italia offers a journey through a deeply alive cinema, marked by memory, poetry, revolt and the power of gaze.
This second edition will be marked by the premiere of Francesca & Giovanni, an exceptional event within a program that brings together Italian history, collective imagination and today’s concerns.
Conceived as a time of discovery and transmission, this cycle highlights major and singular works. It is part of the editorial line of Kino Ciné, attentive to heritage cinemas, essential authors and international perspectives.
In connection with the teaching of Italian cinema at the University of Lille, this new edition aims to make cinema a space for sharing, reflection and curiosity, open to all.
