I’m deranged

  • Théâtre

Because she is a woman and a free artist, she had to leave her country. Mina Kavani has been living in exile in Paris for more than ten years now. Indeed, the Islamic Republic of Iran threatened her for appearing naked hair and body in the film Red Rose by Sepideh Farsi. In this monologue, she tells her journey, her childhood in Tehran, but also the indelible mark of dictatorship and censorship. Facing two large mirrors multiplying her silhouette, carried by the music of Siavash Amini (who no longer has the right to leave Iran), the actress exposes a life torn between dreams and memories, passion and anguish. An overwhelming testimony, like a heartbreaking scream at night.
