From the chimeric figure of the mermaid, being half-woman half-fish, Aurore Magnier makes a queer icon and a figure of resistance against gendered assignments.
An ordinary mermaid, not very comfortable in her sneakers, visits her therapist. In this autofictional fable with a Disney slideshow background, Aurore Magnier leads an identity quest where reflections on madness, death and femininity intersect. Like a rallying cry for those who overflow the frames.
