1980, in the south of Iran. The inhabitants of Abadan resist the siege of the Iraqis. There is Omid, 14 years old, who decided to stay at his grandfather’s place, waiting for the return of his big brother from the front. But how to resist in times of war without taking up arms? Omid then discovers an abandoned boat in the port of Abadan. Would he have finally found a way to save those he loves?
