The Jean Prouvé pavilion in Tourcoing

Following the housing shortage after the Second World War, 2 houses "Métropole", designed by Henri and Jean Prouvé are built on an experimental basis in Tourcoing in 1952. You will visit the one that was burned in 1996 and restored identically in 1999. The 2 dwellings are protected as witnesses of research on post-war social housing and on modular and economic housing.
