Currently under restoration, the church of Saint-François d'Assise is revealed differently thanks to the association of the Friends of Saint-François, which invites to explore its history, its architecture and its heritage through times of exchange and mediation.
Saturday, discover the building through several highlights:

• Exhibition and projection of archives on the occupation of the convent by the Franciscan fathers from 1860 to 1973, as well as on the actors who bring the building alive
• Keys of understanding on Our Lady of Assistance known as 'The Virgin of Roubaix' and on the history of the Franciscans in Roubaix
• Discovery of the backstage of the restoration of the church, demonstration and explanations by the craftsmen who bring the building back to life
