Omar EK is a Moroccan artist who reinvents the ancestral sounds of North Africa through an Afro-futuristic approach mixing guembri, traditional instruments, synthesizers, machines and electric guitar. Between Gnawa trance, electronic textures and organic rhythms, he creates an immersive and contemporary music that makes dialogue between Moroccan musical heritage and current electronic culture.

Practical information:

• Appointment: 11:45 am at L'Aéronef – Avenue Willy Brandt, 168 Centre commercial Euralille, 59777
• Departure: 12:00 PM
• Route loop: 48 km (28 km one way, 20 km return), mainly at the water’s edge, at a quiet pace
  NB: not recommended for children under 10 years old
• 1-hour picnic break halfway through : plan something to eat (your favorite sandwich, for example)
• Arrival at Wervicq-Sud: 3:30 PM, in front of the Musée des Petits Métiers de la Ferme, Parc Dalle Dumont, 21 rue de Linselles 59117 Wervicq-Sud, concert 4 p.m.
• Return: Departure scheduled around 6 p.m. Arrival in Lille around 7:30 p.m.

• Helmet, water bottle, inner tube.
• Bike in good condition: functional brakes, wheels well fixed (without friction), inflated tires, operational lighting.
