On the occasion of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Ballet du Nord CCN & Vous! uses the sporting gesture and Olympic and Paralympic values to propose the Athletic Choreographic Ball, a participatory and inclusive piece choreographed by Sylvain Groud in collaboration with nearly 200 athletes and disabled athletes from Roubaix. Boxing, rugby and haka, fan songs, cycling, football, basketball, athletics and break... This entire sporting universe lends its unique body states and physicalities to simple but striking choré-graphies, deliberately funny or moving, and in any case ras­sembleuses and festive! The evening of the ball, a dozen sports tables are linked on a mix of iconic hits of pop culture. Professional dancers, amateur accomplices and sportsmen lead the public on the dancefloor by a joyful effect of contamination.
