of Michel Bellier by La Baraque foraine.
With Estelle Roland, Nadine Masure, Odile Deverne, Jeanne Laloux
August 1914: France enters the war against Germany. The men leave for the front "la fleur au fusil", acclaimed by the crowd. In the countryside, to feed the country, women and children set about working the fields.
From the beginning, the war has already claimed many victims. Women become nurses and invest in hospitals.
The conflict gets bogged down, the soldiers bury themselves in the trenches, the women drive the tramways, distribute the mail, occupy jobs once held by men.
To support the war effort, arms factories need manpower and hire women massively.
It is in one of these factories, at workshop 75, that Julie, Rose, Jeanne and Louise meet.
They discover the solidarity that allows them to survive.
The Girls with Yellow Hands, it is the story of these women but also of a deep friendship that was born during the four years that the war would last.
