First appearance at La rose des vents for Leïla Ka, a self-taught choreographer and performer from the world of urban dance. After dancing in May B by Maguy Marin, she creates her own pieces and also signs choreographies for other artists such as Beyoncé, Zaho de Sagazan or the National Ballet of Chile. With her new creation, Lullaby shot, she claims a liberating dance. Eight women on stage, including her, display raw and explosive energy. Without decor or artifice, their tense bodies, curved backs, bent legs, embody an uncompromising feminine "empowerment". Carried by evolving lights and a percussive electro soundtrack, they occupy the space with wild intensity, free from any restraint. An explosion of pure movement, where dance becomes an act of resistance and freedom.
