Since 1964, the General Inventory Service has recorded and studied the richness of our cultural heritage. In this context, researcher Leslie Dupuis and photographer Pierre Thibaut conducted a detailed photographic review of the swimming school in Tourcoing in 2016. Seventeen years after its closure and shortly before the first phase of rehabilitation, the photographer puts on the present time a researcher’s look at heritage testimony. Focusing on the architectural and memorial aspects, this series anchors this emblematic building of Tourquennoise life in history.
