This glass sculpture by Guillaume Bottazzi is 3 metres high

It was installed in May 2021 on the Domaine des Diamants Blancs, in the extension to the Mallet-Stevens garden adjacent to the Villa Cavrois, an emblematic piece of listed modern architecture.

Inspired by flowers, this Zen-like creation is the result of a global approach that integrates various parameters specific to its location. Set in a garden, the gradations, colours and curves of this creation take us into an imaginary world linked to nature.
Its purpose is to put us in a good mood, to reduce anxiety, to produce dopamine and serotonin in the viewer.
It is made from enamel, a natural material composed of different minerals. This environmental work can be seen from the restaurant's terrace and gardens, located in the heart of the estate.
2025 is the year of mental health, and visual artist Guillaume Bottazzi is inviting us on a gigantic artistic journey with 86 heritage works of art to be discovered all over France as part of the 42nd European Heritage Days. Under the aegis of the European Union, the Ministry of Labour, Health, Solidarity and the Family has designated mental health as a ‘Major National Cause in 2025’. Guillaume Bottazzi is recognised as a pioneer in neuroaesthetics, which brings neurobiology and art into our environment to help improve our mental health and reduce social tensions. Neuroscience has proved that the works of this artist do us good, and the Health Organisation has confirmed that art can help our mental health. Neuroaesthetics is gaining considerable ground in our environment, and the public is invited to immerse themselves in the poetic world of the artist and measure the effects of this new trend that is now part of our daily lives. The aim is to produce chemical effects on us that help our mental health. These heritage works, anchored in our daily lives, reduce our anxiety and feelings of loneliness. In particular, they produce dopamine, serotonin and oxytocin.
They make us happier and stronger, more elegant and healthier. They reduce the effects of depression, promote social cohesion and help us take a step back from things. They comfort us, make it easier to make spaces our own and reduce social tensions. They contribute to peace and love in the world. Fuelled by thousands of publications by neuroscientists, the effects of these sensory experiences have been confirmed by the World Health Organisation in 2019. The creations presented criss-cross the country from north to south of France.
Guillaume Bottazzi has created over 100 heritage works in Europe, the United States, China and Japan, commissioned by cities, museums and architects. They are part of the architectural heritage of the places where they are located.
This glass sculpture by the artist is on display in Croix, on the Domaine des Diamants Blancs, in the extension to the Mallet-Stevens garden that adjoins the Villa Cavrois, a listed architectural landmark.
