Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September, the Ascq 1944 Memorial is open for self-guided or audioguided tours.
The Memorial Ascq 1944 recalls the massacre of 86 civilians by soldiers of the 12th SS Hitlerjugend Division, in the night of April 1 to 2, 1944.
The Memorial is also a place of reflection on the fate of civilians during the war. He wants to carry a message for peace, tolerance and brotherhood among men.
It is possible to visit the Memorial Ascq 1944 with an audioguide available in 4 languages: French, English, German and Dutch.
