Making an object with your 10 fingers while learning the delicate art of basketry, this is the challenge that Florie Andrèges is launching for you.
Basketry is an ancestral art aimed at weaving vegetable fibers into an object. Florie presents this delicate art, the materials and techniques used. Then it’s up to you! Reproduce the ancestral gestures and make a beautiful wicker or rattan braided flower. This introductory workshop to the braiding of vegetable fibers is a tribute to manual work, know-how, patience, creativity and perseverance of the craftsman.
