This modern church was requested in the years 1960/1970 by the éveque of Lille following the construction of the new district of the 5 bonniers. It is the architect Jean-Pierre Secq who is the instigator, this building enters the current brutalism is which concomitant angular buildings, with the expressive lines C"esr Monseigneur Ghent, éveque of LIlle , which inaugurates it in December 1975,
