Installed for 30 years on avenue des Nations Unies, the Higher School of Applied Arts and Textile is the main public establishment in the region dedicated to design professions and applied arts. Its building, designed by the architect Gilles Neveux, shows a strong political will and is one of the major urban transformation projects in Roubaix at the end of the 1980s. Its origins as well as its prestigious collections often unknown, reinforce its identity and consolidate its dynamic of territorial anchorage and contemporary projection.
