.Housed at the Château de Robersart in Wambrechies on the banks of the Deûle river since 1998, the museum showcases a rich and unique collection of ancient toys to the north of Paris. In this exceptional setting, our activity goes beyond the simple presentation of a collection; it is also about safeguarding our heritage. Visitors walk through two centuries of doll and toy history. Here, the toys take back soul and life by respecting scales, materials and eras in original scenographies. The taste of staging, such is our imprint that is attached to walk the visitor from the nineteenth to the sixties, marrying the old and delicate charm of porcelain dolls to the very sixties atmosphere of the first Barbies, using the route followed by electric trains or Citroën cars. The first room “Le jouet va-t-guerre” is dedicated to the war 14-18. Flemish games of our old stamens in free use in the museum.
