Discover the city center of Wambrechies
It is only 7 kilometers north of Lille on the edge of the Deûle that nestles the «City of juniper». Although the texts that evoke Wambrechies date from the Xleme century, the parish is well before this date. The village flourished when Jeanne de Constantinople, Countess of Flanders, channeled the Basse Deûle from Lille to Deûlémont. The appearance of the textile and agri-food industries and the seigneury of Wambrechies mark its history and contribute to its reputation. • Rates: 5 € adult/ 2 € child (5 to 15 years), payment (check or cash) only at the reception of the tourist office before the visit at opening hours: from Tuesday to Friday from 9:30 to 12:30 and from 14h to 17:30, on Saturday from 10h to 12h30.
• Appointment: the meeting point will be given once the reservation is confirmed.
