Guided tour of the Jardins de l'hospice Barbieux

Built between 1890 and 1894 on the hill of Barbieux, the old hospice is a fine example of hospital architecture from the end of the 19th century. Designed according to the principles of hygiene, the whole is organized around a vast courtyard-garden imagined by Georges Aumont, landscaper of the Barbieux park. Its isolated pavilions, glazed galleries and monumental porch give it a unique look.
