In 2026, the Stadium celebrates its 50th anniversary!

Located in Villeneuve-d'Ascq near the Parc du Héron, the Stadium is an equipment managed by the MEL since 1976. Come and discover its history and behind the scenes!

The Archives department and the Stadium team will guide you in the different areas (courts, changing rooms, president’s lounge...). During the tour, you will be introduced to the history of the stadium: the matches, historical competitions and concerts that took place there, the great sportsmen who walked the ground of the Stadium and more recent anecdotes, such as the hosting of the Olympic village for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
An illustrated booklet of archival documents on the history of the Stadium will be given to participants.
