The Parc de Barbieux, the largest urban park north of Paris, extends over 25 hectares in the heart of Roubaix. English garden built in the 19th century following the abandonment of an underground canal project, it is recognized for its ecological and landscape richness. It has been classified as a natural site since 1994 and labeled a "remarkable garden" since 2010.
