In 1844, the Lille architect DHENIN began to build the church with a very simple plan. At the end of the century, the church was too small but it was not until 1931 that enlargement work was undertaken. The work will last just over a year. We will take the opportunity to review the decoration of the facade, walls and vaults. Cardinal LIENARD will inaugurate this new building on December 11, 1932.
Come and discover the eventful history of the construction of the first parish of Mons-en-Barœul but also the treasures it houses. Several elements of the furniture are listed as Historic Monuments.
