On Friday, November 28, 2025 at 3:00 PM, the Espace culture of the Cité scientifique campus in Villeneuve d'Ascq hosts the conference Autour des archives by Christine Deknuydt, presented by Joséphine Gibokji, senior lecturer in film studies at the University of Lille, and Jeanne-Bathilde Lacourt. The LaM received as a donation a set of school notebooks in which Christine Deknuydt recorded thoughts, stories, recipes and reading notes. This round table offers an exchange on how these unpublished archives nourish today’s understanding of his work and his quasi-alchemical approach to the artistic process.
