Paradoks trio proposed by Jazz in Vel'à
David Fackeure, jazz pianist, composer and arranger, son of an Italian mother with a musical fibre and a saxophonist father who is an admirer of Stan Getz. At the age of 15, he discovers the great standards of Jazz and will develop his facilities for Jazz and the music of the Caribbean.
Trained at the Bill Evans Academy, he will put his new harmonic knowledge at the service of his natural sense for melody. His first opus Jazz On Biguine (with bassist Alain Raman and drummer David Gore), followed in 2007 by a second opus (with bassist Sylvio Marie, guitarist Thomas Dutronc, and saxophonist Xavier Richardeau). These albums, unanimously praised by French and international critics, brought him 2 nominations for the Jazz victories in 2008.
