At 98 rue des Stations, the CAUE du Nord has a place open to all dedicated to mediation in the fields of architecture, urbanism, environment and landscapes: the Maison des territoires du Nord. This place of resources, awareness and training on the transformation of the territory is based on observation and knowledge sharing.
The presentation of the educational program will focus on understanding vernacular architecture in its site, in connection with the local resource, geology, geomorphology, to better understand the logics of human settlements and the need to rely on this knowledge to design tomorrow’s projects.
Visitors will also discover the educational system from the observation of the building, its history and its location in the neighborhood and the city.
