If you are sweeter than salty, this Sunday offers plenty of pleasures to savor! Taste the specialties of the North: Liège and Flemish waffles, and participate in the making of a sweet bread in the Museum’s bakery. Even those who prefer salty food might be tempted!

  • From 10am to 12pm and from 1pm to 6:30pm: sweet bread workshop with Le fournil de l'Engraineuse
    Young and old, come discover the bread recipe and shape small fluffy funny loaves. The dough will be baked in a wood-fired oven, in the former municipal bakery of Hondeghem. The opportunity to discover this beautiful traditional building dating from the 18th century. A friendly moment to have fun, create and develop your senses! duration 45 minutes. From 3 years.
  • At 11am and 5pm: animal appointments
    Accompany our villager to meet the farm animals! All public.
  • At 2 PM and 4 PM: school of yesteryear. Relive the 19th century school where the teacher of the village school will teach you the subjects of the day. At your feathers and inkwells! from 8 years old.
  • At 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM: discovery of the school of yesteryear
    For those under 8 years old, they will be able to travel among the desks and discover the school of your elders!
  • 3 PM and 5 PM: guided tour of the museum with our villagers in costumes. All public
  • Storytelling session: 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM
