The art gallery La Teinturerie takes place on a part of the former industrial site of the Roussel-Desrousseaux dye factory, emblematic of Roubaix’s textile history. Closed in 2003, this factory has long participated in the activity and economic identity of the city. Even today, its silhouette remains marked by a strong element: its chimney, the highest of Roubaix, true landmark in the urban landscape and visible witness of this industrial past.
